Walls - or fences - are structures that enclose or divide an area of land for privacy or protection. (See Ex. 14:29)  Nehemiah repaired the walls of Jerusalem and people are like walls seen in the prophets (Ez. 13:4,5)

This letter looks like a doorway, and the Israelites were commanded in Ex. 12:7,13 to apply the blood of the lamb on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the house, as a sign of protection. The word “life” in Hebrew is Chayim #2416 chai חַי living, alive (man/animal), green: vegetation, flowing fresh water.

It is the Lamb of God whose blood is the doorway to life.

“For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.” 1Peter 1:18,19  (See John 1:29,36)

As we stay connected to Jesus there are new beginnings.

Being ”yoked” to the Lord in a covenant relationship, He leads us and teaches us the right way to live.  We bind our self to His discipleship.
